I won’t ever be able to express my gratitude to this company and to Darien. After our hold Solar Company Erus went bankrupt, we were left with an incomplete project. Our loan officer connected us with a different company who semi got us to permission to operate. However, a solar panel was not functioning. They wanted to charge us a sustainable about of money to fix this solar panel (which i had the replacement for and it was under warranty). I called Darien and within minutes, he called me back. He was out that week to fix our solar panel. No hassle, no reschedules, no demanding a large sum to help. This company has been a dream to work with.

After noticing my solar input being cut in half, I attempted to reach out to the original installer from 2 years ago only to find they’re out of business. So, I google a company near me with good reviews. The reviews don’t lie, within 30 min Black Platinum was able to access my system and diagnose it was probably a connector or breaker and would be a quick fix. Sure enough, after 15 minutes on my roof everything was back up and producing.

Black Platinum Solar & Electric installed an EV Charger. Jose was great throughout the entire process. The estimate process was simple and Black Platinum installed it for what they said they would. Communication throughout was excellent. The work done was very professional, Jose explained the process in detail, and went above and beyond during installation. I would definitely recommend Black Platinum for your EV Charger installation.

Great Company! My original solar installation company is out of business and Enphase recommended Black Platinum and with good cause. Darien was amazing to get us back up and running. I live in Payson. My solar system stopped working. My solar company is out of business. My heart was sinking – what do I do? Our usual electrician had heard good things about John Black. Not hoping for much, I called John. He did not close me for a several hundred an hour plus travel time appointment. He helped me fix my issue over the phone…for nothing. I was a victim ready to be taken. John chose to help me instead. Right out of the box, Black Platinum Solar gets five stars from me. I would give them more if I could. I suspect Black will be the answer to more folks than just me in this crazy, fluid world of solar.

What more can one expect from a family-owned local solar company where expertise is alive along with a quality installation? From the very beginning with David and John along with Damian, we were treated with professionalism! I shared our experience with our neighbor and challenged him to assess our quality installation and compare it with other solar company installations in our neighborhood. This validated his decision! This was a no-brainer as he confidently chose Black Platinum!

It’s been 3-1/2+ years and the system still out performs my expectations. Here is what impresses me the most and why I would stay away from the big dogs: Black Platinum stands behind their products and workmanship. More importantly, they answer their phone and always respond appropriately. And imagine that, the owners John and Johnny Black are the ones answering the phones and helping. I’m a high school PE and football coach and I’ve had some bonehead technical questions to ask…they help and don’t act like you are “putting them out.” A recent larger issue that had to do with APS equipment causing some issues, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, Darien, Platinum field supervisor who was amazing and knowledgeable, came out the next day, trouble shot and replaced the equipment. Done! Glad to be part of the Black Platinum family.

What a wondaful experience. This is my first Google review ever and I felt John and Jose deserved the recognition for the job they did for me and my wife. Both were polite, friendly, prompt, accommodating, and just plan easy to chat with. Jose work ethic and desire for both quality work and customer satisfaction was 100% apparent. When my EV charger came in and didn’t have the proper plug I thought it would have, John, and Jose found a way to come out within a couple says to fix my dilemma and get the charger installed and working. Jose even styed extra to make sure that I got the app working and our Mustang Mach E was charging before he left. Really appreciate the work they did and I would 100% recommend them to any of my friends’ and family. Thank you Gentleman for great service and experience.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Black Platinum. We originally spoke to several solar companies. John at Black Platinum was by far the best product and the best install. Pricing was very competitive, and they explained every step of the contract and install. Wiring for the solar is run in the attic and through the walls, so no ugly conduit on the exterior. The crews arrived on time were extremely professional and courteous. John was instrumental in rectifying a few old permit issues with the city, that impacted permitting on the solar. All in all, a GREAT experience.

I would give them even more than 5-Stars if I could! They are VERY professional, always arrive when they say they will, and take a Lot of pride in their work. They make sure they complete every little aspect of the job! I would recommend them Without The Slightest hesitation.

Excellent experience with Black Platinum Solar, from my first contact with Dave Armstrong, through interactions with the project manager, Damien Sadoski, and on-site supervisor, Dan. They communicated the process very effectively, keeping me informed of scheduling and progress, as well as seamlessly handling my HOA, SRP (energy provider) and any municipal regulatory requirements. The owner, John Black, was very involved in the process and was always available to answer any questions I had. This was also true of Damien.

My system errored and I was out of power even though I had solar and battery back-up. I called a dozen solar companies to find someone who would be able to correct the issue quickly. John Black came and swapped a breaker (no charge) and gave some suggestions on how to avoid this in the future. Absolutely no pressure, no sales pitch, just sound advice. I hired Black Platinum Solar to correct the original instal error, they showed up on time, did the work right first time and at a fair price. I could not imagine a better company in this business space. Customer for life.

Darien was reliable and prompt, and he was extremely knowledgeable about my solar system even though I’m not. He took the time to explain the setup to me, which was very helpful.

I was very pleased with Black Platinum Solar and Electric. I had been looking for months for someone who would replace a broken solar panel. When I found black platinum they had the part and installed within a week at a reasonble price. I would highly recommend them! Darien was on time, pleasant, and did a great job.

Very well oiled machine they have going on there. From the beginning the salesperson David was very helpful and educational. He was not pushy and merely wanted to show the value of the company. They were not the cheapest quote I got but provided the best quality of hardware and installation. Anything cheaper would have meant lower quality parts or missing pieces of work. Their team was very fast and the installation was clean. They are authorized installers of Panasonic and Enphase which was important to me since that was the hardware combo I wanted to go with. Communication was very well every step of the way. I don’t think anyone in Phoenix could do the work any better. I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for solar in the Phoenix area! 13 years ago I had solar installed at my house. They did an outstanding job but have since gone out of business . I reached out to many other solar installers for help with a warranty repair. I was either told to go away or they were way over priced. Black Platinum stepped up and got the job done! I worked with Darien Sadoski and couldn’t be happier with the service he provided me.
