When we decided to install solar on our Tucson home, we contacted four local companies. One did not get back to us at all. Two responded only via email and did remote evaluations. Net Zero Solar was the only company who sent someone to meet with us personally. Brian was just great. He did an on-site assessment, then explained our options, which we needed because we knew nothing about how solar works. We pretty much knew the moment Brian left, we’d be signing a contract with Net Zero Solar. It’s a local company that hires local people. Throughout the process, the communication from everyone on the Net Zero team was great. I don’t remember their names, but the men who put up the roof panels and installed the system were all very nice, as well as considerate and conscientious. All in all, it was a great experience with Net Zero Solar. We highly recommend them!

They do exactly what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. So easy to work with and so knowledgeable.

Net Zero Solar did a wonderful job for us when we decided to go with solar. They presented two system sizes and we settled on the larger system. Their handling of all of the permits, including our HOA approval, went without an issue. Their installation including cleaning up afterwards was perfect. I cannot think of a thing they missed. A great company to deal with when you make the move to solar.

I can’t say enough good things about Net Zero Solar. The solar quoting processing was smooth and informative (very educational and NOT sales-y), the install was quick, the crew was efficient, nice, and clean, and overall the experience was top-notch. I’ve been wanting to go solar for YEARS, and it finally worked out. I’m grateful to have found the Net Zero crew, who did an amazing job, continue to support my system, and proactively share important information about what’s happening in the local solar-universe. We are extremely pleased with the system the Net Zero Solar installed for us. Their work was thoroughly engineered and documented. Their professionalism is outstanding.

Our electric bill for March of 2023 was $226. For March of 2024 it was $47. The bill for April of 2023 was $235 and for April of 2024 was $45.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Sales process was low key with just the right information and follow through. The entire process was completely turnkey. Net Solar even worked directly with my HOA. And kept me well informed on a timely basis. Installation was smooth, efficient and the team cleaned up thoroughly after. I was given clear instructions on how to start the system after TEP finished their work. And the company has stayed in touch. I did considerable research prior to contracting with Net Solar and they exceeded my expectations.

We have had two solar systems installed by Chad and his Net Zero team. They are the only solar firm we would consider using. They are knowledgeable, courteous and honest. The very few times we had any issues or questions they were immediately responsive and provided the highest level of support.

Top notch group through and through. They were efficient and priced lower than competition while offering solid panels. We would recommend them to anyone considering solar. I am only sorry I didn’t find them sooner!!

Be advised that we don’t post reviews very often and when we do it’s because somebody really deserves it. We’ve now had our system installed for nearly a year and feel like we can post a meaningful review of Net Zero Solar, their product, our experience and the overall business case for moving forward with a purchase of this magnitude.

While there are certainly “green energy” considerations that motivate some to make a solar buying decision, the green in our pocket weighed much more heavily on our decision making as well as making sure we were buying from a reputable supplier. We purchased a “huge” 50KW system with over 80 panels. Yesterday, our system produced 193kWh providing our air conditioners and pool pumps with plenty of power to keep our house cool without racking up our previous $800/month electric bill from TEP. Factoring in the tax deduction, value appreciation to the home, and energy cost savings, we are well ahead of our business case projections for the project and thrilled with the ROI so far.

As it relates to Net Zero, we can’t say enough good things about Chad and his team. They dealt with all of the details of installing our complex system and made the process 100% simple for us. We have had a couple warranty related issues over the last 10 months and they have addressed them instantly without issue including changing out an underperforming panel. We originally we going to have a large company that approached us in Costco do the installation but contacted Chad for a second quote and opinion. Boy are we glad we did!! His pricing was better, he gave us an honest assessment of features that were probably not value added for our situation (e.g. batteries), and generally it was nice to do business with a local supplier. If you’re considering going solar in Arizona…..Net Zero is the way to go and every check you right to TEP is one you could have put into your own system.

The only improvement opportunity we have is for Enphase which apparently has some limitations on their ability to provide usage monitoring for 400amp systems. As such, we are unable to track our real time usage on our system which would be really great functionality that most other Net Zero customers get with their installations. Hopefully that functionality will be forthcoming for us!

An excellent experience from beginning to end. Net Zero were recommended to us by another installer who could not meet our schedule. Net Zero helped us determine the capacity we needed. They took care of all the paperwork and permitting. The install was very good with good quality work. We have been very happy with the system.

After Net Zero installed our new solar system,we have seen our winter electric bills cut in half or more. We are very pleased with the entire process and we highly recommend Net Zero!

Making the choice to buy solar power for your home is a big deal. It’s a complex decision that involves a ton of trust. I was lucky. I selected to speak to representatives of Net Zero Solar relying entirely on their on-line reviews.

What I came to discover is what the name of the company was going to mean. Sure, it speaks to the savings on your electric bill as compared to your investment. But what it really meant for me is that I had to do zero other stressful things during a pretty complex job other than writing the check. I didn’t have to deal with my HOA or pay them any money. I didn’t have to deal with the power company. I didn’t have to worry that everything wouldn’t happen on the timeline they promised. I didn’t have to worry about anything.

I also got to meet a bunch of very kind, dedicated and professional members of the NZS Team that called to check in on me and how I was doing more frequently than my mother – and she’s very attentive. (I’m writing this 6 months after going live and it continues.)

My experience was so different than my neighbor’s experience with another company that he changed gears and went with NZS. He had the same experience – Zero Problems.
