We love our new solar system. This company meets and exceeds our expectations. The level of communication and professionalism is outstanding. We are completely off grid and had a system installed that will allow us to expand the system at a minimal cost. Thank you to Xavier, and Eli who explained everything they were doing we learned alot. Thank you to Taylor for sending us a great team of installers.

Taylor is unbelievable. The level of knowledge and professionalism this guy shows is insane. I had new grid check out a poor solar job. They thoroughly inspected and found all mistakes by previous company. I was provided a detailed quote with a cover page of their findings. Taylor spent roughly an hour exploring all options and explaining things in depth. He made sure he understood our expectations crystal clear. I hope I get to work with more professionals like this business has.

After many months of trying to find a qualified off-grid solar company we were introduced to New Grid by an industry professional. All our Northern California/Nevada solar companies were all only versed at grid-tied systems and unable to work with us. We hired NewGrid and now have a high end 11.2 kW Solar generation with 42.4 KWH of Lithium battery storage fully powering our 4000 sq ft Mountain lodge. They also installed two back-up linked propane generators that are tied into our inverters/batteries for auto battery charging when the snows and inclement weather keep our panels covered. Totally awesome set-up! and even has ample power to run our oversized well pump. Our wedding venue lodge is self reliant with this clean power system. Could not be more pleased with the install and process. Two years to date of trouble free use and quick follow up support including remote access tweaks to improve the set-up. Price was inline with the industry standards and the federal tax incentive was a big plus!

I can’t say enough good things about NewGrid and its “Dream Team”, Taylor and Will’s professionalism, knowledge and great communication.

The honest, no-nonsense, no pressure approach speaks volumes about the NewGrid company and its employees’ dedication to provide GREAT customer service. This company is also very up front about any costs and/or potential service costs prior to services being rendered.

Getting any services and/or support to my rural northern AZ property is next to impossible so let me use the approximately 600-mile round trip drive to my 100% off-grid property during one of AZ’s longest running heatwaves not to mention the prompt service and resolution be a just a couple of examples to back up my high praise and 5-star rating.

We’ve been off-grid when we had our house built in 2016. After many issues, NewGrid set us up with a new system last year and we couldn’t be happier! Will and his team(s) are very good at what they do. Taylor and his teams are great to work with! Any questions we have are answered quickly and efficiently. We can’t say enough good things about the system, the company, and all the individuals working at NewGrid! We highly recommend NewGrid Off-Grid Power Systems!

My wife and I found Will and his team at the onset of a custom home project. The cost of connecting to the grid was much higher than the cost of an over the top setup from New Grid. I couldn’t believe how established the off-grid technology is – you never hear about it! Will and Matt took the time to study our plans, ask about our hobbies (welding, pottery – kiln, metal fab – lots of 220v tools) and lifestyle (house temperatures, family, shower/laundry, cooking). Our house has 3 air conditioners, 2 water heaters, 2 well pumps, electric dryer, oven, and induction cooktop, and all the above tools/equipment, and our system has been running without hiccup since 2018. I’ve gotten support from New Grid at all hours of all days and they’re always certain to make sure issues are resolved and I end up a more educated power system operator.

Will and Matt were actively involved with the Architect and the General Contractor (Us) during the development of the project to ensure all the proper considerations were planned out to support our multiple buildings, multiple arrays, and battery/equipment room. Will developed a comprehensive planset, and ensured that the solar permit (separate from the main home permit) was consistent and timed correctly with the main permit.

Matt and the field team made multiple trips on short notice to support our build schedule and camped at our jobsite to make sure things were done right – I made several new friends as a result of this project! They made sure to be on site when the AC equipment was first installed and fired up – and Matt actually identified electrical mistakes that the HVAC techs had made (heat coil was running when AC was operating – resulting in much higher load than anticipated). They fabricated a custom battery enclosure and laid out an intricate equipment room and mechanical yard that looks clean and top notch.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go off grid with New Grid’s guidance – I would be happy to share more about our system or experience with anyone that wants further reference.

Bottom line, the price was right, the technology is great, the service and installation are top notch – you can’t go wrong with New Grid!

I pretty much had plans regarding hooking up a shared well that was drilled several years back. Up until I reached the solar install. This is when I reached out to New Grid. They had no hesitation, jumped right in making engineered plans, scheduling install and completing our system. Great work !

I am 100% off grid with a normal house and normal lifestyle. I worked with newgrid to acomplish this task and they are great to work wtih. Even after the project is done they still take my calls and answer my questions. For that was one of my concerns is these fly by solar companies. I had a 5.4 kW array with 40.2 kWh battery storage installed on my property by NewGrid in northern AZ. I’ve since had them add an additional 6500 watts of modules on my main house with an additional inverter and charge controllers to manage the additional power. They once again did a first class job and always provide prompt answers to any questions I may have. Very satisfied!

We have been using NewGrid for probably close to 10 years on various projects. They have always exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them!

Will and all the other folks at Newgrid have been great to work with and they go above and beyond. We had them install a 35kw system for our remote ranch. They have completed phase 1 which got us up and going before COVID, now we are looking forward to phase2 completion of the system. Two years ago I bought a ranch that was totally off-grid and was powered by a small propane generator. I reached out to Will at NewGrid and they came up to take a look. He and his team spent quite a while familiarizing themselves not only with the layout and what I had already, but what my needs were and were going to be. I got a very professional and fair bid and they worked their tails off getting the whole system built in a very timely manner. I now have a ranch that has constant power, providing a safe and reliable environment for me and my family. Our enjoyment of the place is immeasurably more than it was prior to the install. We are able to visit more frequently with less hassle and they check in on the system every once in a while to ensure it’s still functioning properly. They did not just build it and walk away…they made sure their work was complete and continue to ensure it’s everything they promised. I could not be happier.

New grid designed and installed a 4.5kw array with a 24v 1000ah lead acid battery on my property 16 months ago. The crew arrived and went right to work. They were hard working knowledgeable professionals.

After commissioning my system Matt G. Spent time teaching me the fundamentals of monitoring and maintaing my system. Since that time the folks at New Grid have made themselves available to answer any of my concerns and have actually come by on a couple of occasions to check on my system when they have been working on other projects in the area.

I would and have highly recommended them to anybody considering new solar equiptment or an upgrade to existing equipment.

The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars; since installation I’ve had concern about what I assume or appears to be battery gasses venting from the battery enclosure and condensing on the battery housing, electronic component housing and presumably the back of the solar panels (I can’t say with certainty as the panel backs are white and would require a much closer inspection). I shared my concern with Matt G. I was visited by Matt S. who inspected problem and stated it was a concern that would “have to be dealt with”. I received a phone call from Will H. In June, during our conversation he brought the topic up and told me they were exploring / talking about possible causes and potential solutions and a fix would be forthcoming in the next month or two. That was six months ago and I haven’t heard a word. It may not be a serious concern from their perspective, this system was and is a major investment and this issue is of concern to me.
