We initially contracted for a solar panel/Tesla battery install with another solar company. It turned out that they did not have much experience with battery installations and couldn’t figure it out. We switched to Sun Valley Solar and were extremely pleased with their knowledge, professionalism, and workmanship. Kelly in Sales was great in guiding us to a good solution and Stephanie and Manda were great project managers throughout the install and commissioning process. The system is now working perfectly and our last two APS bills have shown APS owing us money!

Excellent experience with the installation of our solar panels and battery system using Sun Valley Solar. I would give them more starts but was limited to 5. Provided us with tremendous amount of information that allowed us to make an informed decision, especially related to installation of the Tesla batteries (highly recommend). Great company to work with. Communication was top notch and that is important to me. They installed 2 Tesla Powerwall 3’s into our solar system. Installers showed up on time and were friendly and explained what they were going to do. They left the area where they were working as clean if not cleaner as they found it.

Install took 2 days as planned and the next day the APS inspector came out and gave Sun Valley a great comment about their work and the detail they used to install the system.

The next day Bill came out and did all the updating and finishing touches on the system. He walked us through the Tesla App and answered all our questions.

As I type this the house is being powered by our new batteries.

Honestly, if I had a company I would hire these two without question. What great representatives for a company….

Terrible Customer Service. I called them on 9/23 to let them know my solar system is down. They were quick to send over the estimate for me to sign. But have them called to schedule an appointment to fix my system??? NO! I called them today and the man who answered the phone was oh yeah I’ve been meaning to call you. And he proceeds to tell me the soonest they can come out is 10/17. Talk about no sense of urgency. They’re quick to take your money but to come out and do the work well they’re to busy. APS came out on 9/25 and Inspected my system and told me what’s the problem. Do business with this company at your own risk.

Sun Valley Solar is excellent. Kelly O’Brien was committed to providing us the best and reasonable quote. In order to make our decision complete. Instal was done in a timely manner. And even this summer we have been getting credits on our electric bill

Called about solar not very friendly

I called to get an estimate on installation for a ev charger. I thought it was hilarious. On the web site they state theres a site visit estimate purchase etc. tesla quotes at $6,600 including the powerwall and installation. These guys START at $18,000 (and I have solar with them already.) I honestly do not know why someone would go with this group for solar or ev charging at ones property. Also, had an attitude on the phone.

If I had a choir and symphony of trumpets to accompany this note, I’d recruit them.

We just got our SRP bill dated May 25, and here are the important numbers and comparisons (given the new 8 panels are now operating).

Usage through May = 905.

Power gnerated = 935.

We’ve generated more than we used.

Comparison numbers:

Usage through April = 1,096.

Power generated = 717.

We’re going to be closer to equality in the future, or close enough.

I have really enjoyed working with Sun Valley Solar. They installed our whole system and kept in touch through every step of the project. Install went so smoothly and quickly. Work was done professionally and efficiently. Our neighbor used someone else and had problems all along the way so I was a little leery about the process. I didn’t need to worry, though. Sun Valley was one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with. If only all home improvement went this easily.

Great company to do business with – had a few small hiccups in our solar project, which they quickly fixed and remedied. That gave me enough confidence to go with them again for my battery backup project. Will definitely be using them again in the future for any other projects/installs I have in mind!

Sun Valley Solar Solutions team has many layers designed to complete inspections for electrical capabilitiy, battery location, solar panel layout design and location/placement for the equipment. They own the install. This multistep process is not outsourced. A project manager is assigned and communication is outstanding. Their product is top of the line. I went with 2 Tesla batteries 42A, 26 Silfab panels 370 HC, Enphase IQ8Plus-72-2-US inverter.

Every effort is taken to protect the roof and panels. I give the entire team top recommendations with a special shout out to Adrianne, Bill and Doug.

We liked that Sun Valley is a local company with roots and a solid presence in Arizona and many years of solar experience.

Every Sun Valley person we worked with through the proposal, design, installation, and commissioning impressed us with their knowledge and commitment to getting the details right. Our system has been out of service 2 times in the first year. Each time we had to wait weeks to get the system operational. I currently have one of my inverters off-line after Generac did a system upgrade 9 days ago and the earliest they can schedule an onsite visit is another 10 days out. Pay back on these systems is highly dependent on uptime and settings.
